Le vendredi, c’est le jour de #CrazyFF sur ce blog, une nouvelle rubrique qui vise à vous faire découvrir les talents les plus étonnants de twitter. Mon premier #CrazyFF sera pour Amanda Palmer , qui compte plus de 500000 followers et se présente comme ” piano-slayer, singer, writer, blogger, lover, freak & co-founder of the brechtian punk cabaret duo The Dresden Dolls“. Surnommée “Amanda Fucking Palmer” pour son sens de la provocation, Amanda est une artiste américaine inclassable de 35 ans, chanteuse, pianiste et compositeur du duo The Dresden Dolls, menant désormais une carrière en solo (clip ci-dessous), tout en étant également la moitié du duo Evelyn Evelyn, qui signe le clip d’animation très étonnant ci-dessus, qui vient tout juste de sortir. Comme vous pourrez en juger dans son interview vidéo (ci-dessous) au sujet de la manière dont internet et twitter transforment le business de la musique, Amanda Palmer est une artiste certes provoquante, mais très attachante .     i love love love amanda palmer! and of course it’s appropriate that it’s friday night, i’m on my computer. #lofnotc forever! you should have seen that one friday where she wrote notes on her body and twitpic’d it to #lofnotc. it was awesome. and she and neil gaiman are so cute on twitter. you should follow him too, he is brilliant as well: @neilhimself

    wow. I really love the original Radiohead “No Surprises” song and video, but AFP’s version actually made me cry.

    last one: here’s a song written by Neil Gaiman (brilliant writer, one of my favourites, i have almost all his books) and Amanda Palmer, who together make quite possibly the greatest celebrity couple ever. The song goes: “I Google you. Late at night when I don’t know what to do…” Hilarious torch song that I’m sure everyone who’s been in love in the digital era can relate to, haha! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z5ErKq4o4sQ
